It’s just like coke, but without any calories, sugar or anything else really. I also like how you can mix it with other flavours to make it into cherry coke or vanilla coke

The Cola tastes good especially when mixed with the Black Cherry. The cola is the stronger flavour of the two but the cherry balances it out nicely.

Sorry you did not like the Cola flavor. We have had great reviews on the cola from other customers, but completely understand your preference. Your honest feedback is really important to us and we wanted to let you know that we are working on an updated recipe with a few modifications. Since you did not love the product we will be refunding you the price you paid for the bottle.
If you think that the flavor is going to be just like a can of Coca-Cola you are wrong.
If you look at home recipes for Cola, it has things like lemon, lime, orange, cinnamon, coriander seeds, and nutmeg. That would be a better description than thinking its just Coke flavoring. Also, this is not Sodastream syrup, this is the flavoring extract. You can add this to a simple syrup to make it sweeter (with sugar or sugar free simple syrups).
Most sodas made at home are typically 1oz of syrup + flavoring, 7oz of soda water. This is just adding 8 or so drops to a glass of soda water.
I've tried both adding the drops to a simple syrup and adding the syrup to soda water and just adding the drops to soda water, personally I find the syrup to be more pleasant, but that will vary based on taste.
Also the drops will need to have a fairly generous amount of shaking/stirring to be added to your drink. Its in propylene glycol which is soluble in water but will need some time or be mixed in to dissolve.

Store bough cola is made with a concerning about of sugar, citric acid, lots of colorant and caffeine - all things that makes that drink incredibly satisfying. That being said, this product is cola flavoring that you mix with plain sparkling water. I love cola and was looking for a healthier alternative and this is doing a great job at it! It taste like cola gummies, which I really like. The only comment I'd say is the drops doesn't mix completely in the water, but considering this is a new company, I bet they will improve their product with time.
